TITLE: Hopes and Dreams
ARTIST: Juan Chavez, Corrinne Peterson, Chicago Public Art Group (2002)
LOCATION: Roosevelt CTA Stop, Roosevelt at Wabash
DESCRIPTION: Thousands of people were involved in the making of this mosaic over a three year period. This 1800 sq ft mosaic is composed of more than 4000 tiles, created by people attending weekend workshops at the Field Museum. Participants incorporated their personal aspirations into the tiles.
