TITLE: McLaren Vale Main Road Life
ARTIST: Claire Kennett et al
LOCATION: 130 Main Road McLaren Vale
DESCRIPTION: Description: A five panel community art project depicting the Main Road and the many facets of life around our area. Symbols of the sea flow across the bottom of the panels, the road is filled with local symbols, then there are the almond blossom trees and the vineyards. The work was completed by 7 artists working with a particular community group. Elderly residents of the local aged care facility, Aboriginal kindergarten children with an Aboriginal lead artist, the Primary school children from the local school and members of the creative music hub in the town called 'The Groove Garden'
