LOCATION: Capuchin Friary Church, Friary St, Kilkenny
DESCRIPTION: This mosaic is a representation of the confederation banner which is in a cloth form and is on constant view in Rothe House Kilkenny.. it took 400 hours from start to finish as the faces in particular were made with micro pieces of tessarae and is surrounded with gold ripple smalti.
