TITLE: Nya Obuo Ma Asase (Respect the Earth)
ARTIST: Laurel True, Lillian Sizemore, Anna Webb and Nungua Community Members
LOCATION: Aba House Cultural Center, Beach Crescent Rd, near Coco Beach
DESCRIPTION: This mural was the result of a concrete relief workshop that was given to the American mosaic contingent by concrete artist James Ahiave. After we completed the relief, we covered the mural with mosaic, including shells and pebbles from the beach and locally recycled tiles. The title was offered by participant, Russell Ashitey, age 13. August 2004
