TITLE: King's Stool
ARTIST: George Annyidoho and Russell Ashitey
LOCATION: Aba House Cultural Center, Beach Crescent Rd, near Coco Beach
DESCRIPTION: This mural depicts a traditional kings stool from the Ashanti Region of Ghana and is surrounded by Adinkra symbols, which refer to instructional proverbs and a ladder. Materials used include recycled ceramic tile, shells and beach stones. Completed in 2005.
