TITLE: Fisherman's Tale (Tico's Mural)
ARTIST: Laurel True and Mary McDermott Facilitators with Nungua Communty Members
LOCATION: Aba House Cultural Center
DESCRIPTION: This mural depicts a story told to us by Maxwell (Tico) Aquah: That the fisherman know that when there are lots and lots of stars in the sky that there will also be planety of fish in the sea. Over 25 community members of all ages (4-65) worked on this mural. Materials include bought and scavenged ceramic tile, mirror, glass, and stones nad shells gathered from the beach.
