TITLE: "No One Cried"

LOCATION: Morgan Ridge Vineyards, 486 John Morgan Road, Gold Hill, NC
DESCRIPTION: The inspiration for this mosaic sculpture was the scene in the movie "The Wizard of Oz" where the house fell on the Witch of the East. It measures 6.5 feet high, 2.5 feet wide and 4 feet deep. The mosaic is Byzantine glass, Venetian glass and vitreous glass. There is text on all sides which reads, "Ding dong the witch is dead. Follow. The witch died, and no one cried. It's fine. It's fine."
