TITLE: Ria's Bluebird Cafe Mural
ARTIST: Laurel True & Lillian Sizemore
LOCATION: 421 Memorial Drive SE, Atlanta
DESCRIPTION: Designed to bring back memories of old fruit crate art the mural is made of ceramic tile, glass, mirror and mixed media mosaic. The mural is 7ft x 4ft. made for the interior Ria's Restaurant in Atlanta. Laurel and Lillian produced the mural on mesh sections in San Francisco, then they packed it in a big ol' suitcase, and sent Laurel to Atlanta to install in situ. Laurel also did some flagstone/mixed media tables in the back patio. Ria's is a great southern-style restaurant too, breakfast served all day!
