TITLE: Native Flora
ARTIST: Kate Millington
LOCATION: 510 Richmond, Grey Lynn, Auckalnd
DESCRIPTION: Completed in 2000 this mural is sited on the exterior wall of the Grey Lynn Community Centre and reflects the native flora of the area. The notion being that it is the care and respect and use of our environment that binds us together as a community. The mural is 9 meters long by 90 cm wide and depicts the following flora, mangrove, raupo, hebe, manuka, puriri,kowhai, pohutakawa and clematis flowers.
