TITLE: Our Vanishing World (detail)
ARTIST: Jose Antonio Aguirre
LOCATION: 186020 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356
DESCRIPTION: Tarzan, created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912, is one of the best-known literary characters in the world. Countless generations have enjoyed his adventures, through books, films, television and comics. This work of art celebrates the town of Tarzana, named after this hero in 1927. Almost a century after the birth of Tarzan of the Apes, several species from the African Continent are in danger of extinction, I want to emphasize our awareness to their pledge.
CONTRIBUTOR: Jose Antonio Aguirre - California, USA
