TITLE: Black Saturday Resilience
ARTIST: Kathryn Portelli
LOCATION: Redesdale Mia Mia Primary School
DESCRIPTION: Memorial to the resilience of the students at the Redesdale Mia Mia school who had experienced the tragic fires 9 feb 2009. (33 children were directly affected) They created images of thanks, strength, friendship and courage and they all hold hands along the bottom just above the words to their school song.
