TITLE: Geometric patterns LOCATION: Villa Silin is 15Km. east of Leptis Magna DESCRIPTION: In 1974, the Villa Silin(Selene) re emerged from the sand dunes of the Libyan coastline for the first time in nearly two thousand years. Subsequent excavations revealed the house to be a perfectly preserved example of a high status Roman villa.
It has many indoor mosaic floors preserved - this one with geometric patterns.
