TITLE: Diversity Mural
ARTIST: Donna Wheat
LOCATION: Shucksan Middle School
DESCRIPTION: We had students each make a tile from clay that represented nature's diversity, each of the teachers made a tile about cultural diversity, clay was pressed into a tree that the tree was cut from, we stamped sayings about tolerance and diversity into each leaf the
land masses on the earth are faces and the ocean has fish with the word for peace stamped in different languages.The mosaic is filled in with tumbled recycled glass.
