TITLE: Mining
LOCATION: Monaro Highway
DESCRIPTION: 11th of 40 traces of gold was found by Strzelecki in the 1840's in 181 a Geolgist sent by the government produced a report that lead to the Kiandra Gold Rush of the 1860's produced as part of the Cooma Bicential Project in 1988.
