TITLE: Happy Birthday Susan
ARTIST: Isaiah Zagar and Students
LOCATION: Corner of Chapman and Derby, Jingletown, Oakland
DESCRIPTION: This building facade was done by Isaiah Zagar and students in his Visionary Mosaics weel-long course at Institute of Mosaic Art in November, 2006. Ceramic tile, mirror and tinted grout with painted lines. Students from all over the country participated in this workshop. Entire mural was set and grouted in 5 days. All ceramic tile and wall was donated to IMA!
