TITLE: Magic Dolphin Sculpture
ARTIST: Laurel True and True Mosaics Studio
LOCATION: Bertha Port Park- 10th and Wood in West Oakland
DESCRIPTION: This doplhinn sculpture, dating back to mid century, was covered in colorful mosaic as part of a park redevelopment project by the Trust for Public Land. TPL hired Laurel True to design the mosaic embellishment and involve community youth in its execution. Production assistance and support by Nicole Bertoline. Ceramic tile, mirror and glass mosaic. Ceramic tile donated by Heath Ceramics.
