TITLE: Foil Town Dream Village
ARTIST: Laurel True
LOCATION: 3001 Chapman @ Derby, Jingletown, Oakland
DESCRIPTION: Facade mural on Institute of Mosaic Art. Mural is in progress and will eventually be approx. 8' x 100 feet and cover the entire front and side of the 5000 sq ft.building. Designed by Laurel True, portions of this mural have been done by students and volunteer mosaic artists asm well as the True Mosaics team ioncluding Nicole Bertoline. Ceramic tile, mirror, glass, fused glass and handmade tile. Tightrope walker to be added in 2007.
