TITLE: Laurel and Leon

LOCATION: Institute of Mosaics Art, 3001 Chapman St.
DESCRIPTION: 12' x 8' mixed media mosaic mural completed during Isaih's Visionary Mosaic Mural Making Workshop at Institute of Mosaic Art in 2005. This mural was created during the same four day period as A Freelance Angel Came. Located in the community kitchen area at Institute of Mosaic Art, the mural depicts IMA director Laurel True and her constant canine companion, Leon (you have to step way back to see these images!) Media: Ceramic tile, handmade tile, mirror and glass with tinted grout.
