TITLE: Deesis-mosaic
LOCATION: Aya Sofya (also Haghia Sophia)
DESCRIPTION: The mosaic is on the first floor in a part that was originally only accessible to the imperial family. Christ is enthroned with on one side the Virgin Mary, on the other John the Baptist. (14th Century)
