ARTIST: Charles Lamb of Lamb Studios in NY
LOCATION: Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave.
DESCRIPTION: Per the brochure, the 1909 chapel's interior mosaics were based on mosaics at the San Marco Cathedral in Venice and were completed in Rome by "highly accomplished mosaic artists who had just completed a project in the Vatican". If you're visiting Minneapolis, this is a MUST VISIT location. Stunning little chapel.
