LOCATION: The Basilica of San Giovanni Evangelista
DESCRIPTION: Built in 425 but destroyed in 1944 by a badly "aimed" US bomb. It has since been rebuilt, and on the walls are rescued abstract and narrative mosaics, some of which depict the events of the 4th Crusade and its Sack of Constantinople in 1204
