TITLE: One of the many repeating floor motifs. LOCATION: Leptis Magna Mosaic Museum DESCRIPTION: Leptis magna is the largest surviving Roman city outside of Rome itself. Most of the mosaic floors have been transferred to a special Museum constructed on the site. There is a wonderful array of repeating patters and striking motifs to be found on these preserved floors.
